A lifelong resident of Long Island -- she's lived in Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Woodbury, Muttontown and Jericho -- Ms. Levins is the President of United Tax Reduction, Inc. . Although not currently offering brokerage services, Ms. Levins is a NYS licensed real estate broker who sold residential properties in Nassau County from North to South Shore for more than 15 years before becoming a full-time property tax consultant.
Building on her skills with real estate and people, Ms. Levins established her property tax grievance business in 1993. In over three decades of practice, she has helped thousands of Nassau County homeowners reduce their property taxes through careful preparation and extensive knowledge of the law. Ms. Levins is a founding member of the Association of Assessment Consultants, the Long Island-based trade association which helped legislators write the statutes that regulate the tax grievance profession.
Ms. Levins is assisted in preparing appeals, drafting agreements, and other legal matters by Roberta Simon, Esq., a Cornell University graduate who obtained her law degree from the New York University School of Law.
